Welcome to United’s Cyber Rodeo
United’s Cybersecurity and Digital Risk (CDR) team is excited for your visit to our Houston area facilities. This package includes logistics, sessions and tour information, as well as optional social networking activities.
Pre-event Networking Social:
When you arrive in downtown Houston on Monday, May 5, please join us for a networking social at the Magnolia Hotel Houston located at 1100 Texas Avenue, Houston, Texas 77002.
Event Kickoff:
On the morning of Tuesday, May 6, please proceed to level two from the main lobby to check in to the conference center. Our CDR team will greet you at the entrance to the conference center for check-in and badging beginning at 7:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served until 9:00 a.m. when our session begins.
Provided Meals:
If you are a Federal, State or Foreign Government Employee prohibited from accepting our hospitality, please contribute the suggested amounts for meals. Receipts will be made available for your contribution if required.
Attire:
Business casual is welcomed, to include button up shirt, blouse and slacks; closed toed shoes for all tours are required.

Deliveries
- The loading dock and freight elevator, located at Texas Street, may be used for deliveries and pick-ups only, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- The docks accommodate straight body trucks up to 25 feet long and 13 feet high.

United will provide transportation to the tour venues, departing from 609 Main Street at 0715 CDT.
Light refreshments will be provided en route.
Lunch may be purchased throughout the airport after the tours and attendees are free to board their outbound flights.
Important Note for IAH Airport Screening for Outbound Departures
Planned airport tours on May 7 will occur in the IAH airport Security Restricted Area. If at any time noncrewmembers enter a sterile area the following applies with no exception.
When traveling on a flight all non-crewmember personnel, no matter what status of travel, must enter the sterile area through a TSA checkpoint and remain in the sterile area with all accessible property intended to be carried onboard the aircraft.
Non-crewmembers completing a work assignment at the airport and intending to board an aircraft for travel must have remained in the sterile area since entering through the TSA screening checkpoint with all accessible property.
If a non-crewmember employee leaves the sterile area and enters the Security Restricted Area, SIDA, public or secure area they must re-enter through a TSA checkpoint again with their accessible property prior to boarding the aircraft for travel.
